The Optics of
Open Space

My photography is rooted in a single, enduring obsession: space as a living thing. I seek the precise moment where light bends across a landscape and transforms it into pure emotion — where the horizon breathes, where stillness carries weight.

I don't capture locations. I capture the sensation of being inside them. The harmony between transitions of color, the rhythm of shadows, the silence between clouds — these are my raw materials.

Every frame begins as a question: what does freedom look like, right now, in this light?

"Space is not empty. It is the most honest thing I know — and the lens is how I listen to it."

What I Do

Each discipline I practice is a different conversation with light. From the raw grandeur of Andean peaks to the living pulse of a watercolor brush — I pursue the same truth through different languages.

Landscape Photography

Capturing the spatial harmony and color transitions in natural environments — from high-altitude Andean formations to tropical coastlines.

Fine Art & Surreal

Compositing and conceptual imagery that blurs the boundary between physical space and the inner world — dream logic made visible.

Motorcycle & Travel

Documenting journeys through remote and dramatic terrain — where solitude, motion, and landscape converge into a single frame.

Watercolor Illustration

A parallel practice in traditional media — botanical scenes, portraits, and animal studies that inform and enrich the photographic eye.

Light & Color Theory

Deep sensitivity to the quality of natural light — golden hour, blue hour, moonlight — and how it shapes spatial feeling and emotional tone.

Post-Processing

Refined editing that honors the scene — enhancing what was felt in the moment rather than fabricating a reality that wasn't there.

Miami is not a backdrop — it's a subject. The city lives in a permanent tension between extravagance and vulnerability, between tropical light that blinds and the soft hour just before it rises. This is where I arrive to begin a new chapter of visual storytelling.

I am available for editorial commissions, brand photography, fine art projects, and documentary collaborations across South Florida and beyond.

Watercolor
& Illustration

Long before the camera, there was the brush. My watercolor practice — atmospheric jungle interiors, sleeping animals caught in golden afternoon light — developed the same visual instincts that now guide every photograph I take.

The two practices speak to each other constantly: the transparency of watercolor teaches restraint; the camera teaches composition. Both are, at their core, about learning to see what most people miss.
